I thought the segment with Antonio was pretty funny. The back and forth between him and Isabella was great. "I'm crazy!" "I know" "Crazy in love with you!" "lolwhut?!" The whole conceit is just silly! He pretends to be nuts to get with this girl who is already married and didn't even know his name! Ha! Talk about a creepy stalker!

I also liked how Isabella pointed out that being locked up away from men was the best way to ensure that she would try and find a lover! And the flirting between the obviously unacceptable Lollio and Isabella was fabulous.

The madmen were, as is common for madmen in these plays, hilarious. I keep trying to figure out what the madmen dressed as birds is a reference to, but I'm utterly lost on that one. Birds are generally used as symbols of a happy, carefree life (unless they're carrion birds or birds of prey, in which case they represent stuff like death and glory and such), and madmen are also pretty disinterested with day to day affairs. All in all, they're a goofy bunch.

Also, in the main play, De Flores pulled off some sneaky, manipulative shit. I'm not really enjoying it. Their motivations are all pretty clear, the wordplay is pretty good, but it just isn't grabbing me. Meh.
