What the heck is going on?

I'm totally lost. This play started in media res, which I think means something about being in the res of some dude named Media or something. Anyway, most of the actors seem really focused on genital interactions and the policing of said interactions. Indeed. I can just imagine them driving around in wagons labelled "Ye Olde Poosy Patrolle", looking into windows, protecting women from themselves. Oh those filthy, filthy females with their oh so very sexy ankles! Shaddap you loonies!

Meanwhile the Duchess is getting ready for some horizontal jogging with the bastard of her husband and Lusisurisuosiioososos, or however you spell it, is looking to slip his meat popsicle into anything warm and not running away. To be honest, he kind of sounds like a pedophile, what with his obsession with nailing teeny little virgins. Oh and some red shirt got raped and murdered, which definitely pissed off some of the other people named honorable things, like Venerdiseas and Hippoface. I guess they'll just have to make a gun out of diamonds and bat guano, since Scotty seems to be all out of beams.

This thing reads like a medieval morality play. I fully expect all the characters with "bad" names to end up dead, and all the honorable names to end up victorious. Unlike the other plays, there's not even the slightest attempt to develop sympathy for the bad guys -- all the characters are about as one sided and transparent as they can get, much like General Sidious and Darth Bad Dude in those crappy Star Wars spinoffs. If halfway through the play a wagon rolls past complete with devil, God, and Jar Jar Binks, I'm burning this book.

One last thing. The red shirt kills herself over being raped? Good lord. I've no doubt this whole play will be a rousing paean for female rights, wot wot!
